Julia became an RMT in 2016, as a graduate from West Coast College of Massage Therapy (Victoria). She dually holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (UBC Okanagan – 2012), with a focus in Exercise Physiology. In 2013, she also completed a 200-hour vinyasa yoga teacher training.

She enjoys the challenge of getting to the root of injury or dysfunction in her clients, and is passionate about treating people of all ages, with varying conditions and needs. With an emphasis on building body-awareness, breath and relaxation, Julia leans towards a slow, specific approach in her treatments. She also strongly believes that appropriate homecare is crucial and loves collaborating with other healthcare practitioners in the Columbia Valley.

Julia has previous experience in both therapeutic-focused clinics and heli-ski lodges. Honing her skills for both active populations and weekend warriors, Julia loves providing care to the surrounding community. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, trail running, good coffee, and striving to become a better cook. She is passionate about health and wellness, and keen to get the people of the Columbia Valley pain-free and moving better!
